Upcoming adoptable: Luna is a sweetheart who enjoys playing, sleeping on your lap, and exploring her surroundings. Her primary duty is protecting you from those dangerous hoodie strings. They won't get you while she's around! She meows to get your attention. Thoroughly enjoys gentle chin and ear rubs and pets. She will purr for you, but you have to work for it. She doesn’t enjoy being held or picked up that much but she’s working on it. She might do better with a feline who can play and snuggle with her or the human equivalent. Her coat is black, but in sunlight can appear brown. She has individual white hairs sprinkled about her body, primarily on her ears and feet. She also has a bobbed tail from birth. Her estimated d.o.b is 9/22/24.

Her adoption fee is $160 to help cover some of the vetting costs incurred
Upcoming adoptable: Dobby (the house elf) is a very playful, curious, and a mischievous little guy. He is still learning how to play gently and likes to be an instigator. His official job duties vary day to day but include: official inspector of *anything* in his sight and biscuit making. Some days he thinks he’s a parrot and will sit on your shoulder. Other days he practices parkour. The world is his playground and he’s still learning boundaries. When he’s done playing, he will curl up on your lap (or his siblings head or body) for a quick recharge. He will seek out attention and give you purrs to let you know how he feels. He loves ear rubs. He would do best with another cat to roughhouse with or a home that will provide enough exercise to tire him out. If allowed he will eat his weight (& that of his siblings) in food. His coat is black, but in sunlight can look brown, with a tiny white patch on his chest. To add to his elf image, his tail has a crook in it. His estimated d.o.b is 9/22/24.
He and his littermates were found on the side of the road, in a box labeled "FREE Kittens on Halloween of all days!
His vet appointment is scheduled for 12/16/24. He will be FIV/FELV tested, neutered, and if he weighs enough will receive his rabies vaccine. He has received FVRCP vaccine #1. He will not be able to go to his forever home until 12/17/2024 AT THE EARLIEST

Upcoming adoptable: Binx seeks out attention. He likes to climb on your lap and sleep there. He will help you type up those emails or respond to messages-just don't expect them to make sense! He’s curious and likes to explore any place he can fit. He can hold his own with his siblings and is slightly mischievous. He will follow his brother’s lead in shenanigans. He has a black coat which can look brown in the sunlight. His estimated d.o.b is 9/22/24.

Meet Mama Cricket, a resilient and loving cat who's undergone a remarkable transformation! Once a stray, she's now thriving, enjoying cuddles and snacks. This sweet lady is ready for a forever home where she'll receive gentle care, patience, and attention. A quiet household with no young children and cat-friendly pets would be ideal.
She and her newborn kittens, were found abandoned on a porch this spring. The woman who found them reached out to us and we helped get them all vetted and the kittens adopted. She was originally slated to be a tnr but Mama Cricket is making strides and is in search of a happy new chapter and home.
Please reach out if you can give this beautiful girl a loving forever home. We will put you in touch with her caretakers.
All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered prior to adoption, with a 1-yr Rabies vaccine and the first FVRCP vaccination. They will also be dewormed and treated for fleas while in our care. They have been raised in our Volunteers homes, with family, other cats and sometimes dogs.
Before adopting a pet from Witches Kittens, please review our adoption requirements on our FAQ page to ensure you're ready to provide a loving and responsible home.
Three Days: Be patient as the cat acclimates to your home. Your home is new and exciting. It can be overwhelming for many cats, especially those who have been with their fosters for weeks. To help keep from overwhelming your new cat and help make his transition as low-stress as possible, we recommend confining your cat to one room for the first few days to weeks, depending on how quickly your cat acclimates. Having only one room, such as a bathroom or bedroom, to get used to at first minimizes stress for your cat, and allows you to monitor how well he is eating, drinking, and using his litter box. It also allows you access to him for important bonding and socializing time. These first few days require an immense amount of patience on your part. Your cat may be very nervous and hide for the first couple of days. Be patient, and allow your cat to adjust at his own pace. If your cat is outgoing and seems well settled, remember that keeping him confined for a few days will help him learn his surroundings and get used to his litter box and scratching post, making him more likely to use them!
Three Weeks: Expanding Horizons! After 3 weeks, your cat is probably getting used to your comings and goings, learning the daily routine, and starting to figure out when the next meal is coming. He may have acclimated enough to have full run of the house, or he may just be starting to venture out of his room. Providing him with scratching posts, litter boxes, and blankets/beds in his own room at first allows you to then place these objects in other areas of the home, giving him familiar scents and sights to help him get used to a new place.
Three Months: Likely Settled In! At 3 months, most cats know they are “home.” It’s a process to get there, but with patience and a sense of humor, the two of you can scale the mountain together and enjoy the journey toward a great relationship. Keep in mind that settling into a new environment can be a lengthy endeavor, but well worth the effort for you and your new family member! All cats are different and adjust at their own rate. PLEASE BE PATIENT AS THIS IS A LIFETIME COMMITMENT YOU HAVE MADE!
